Do you bake these at home?

This has to be the #1 asked question of all. No, all cookies and products from Stacy’s Cookies are made locally and produced in a health inspected, city approved and licensed commercial kitchen. Every product is assembled, baked, packaged and heat sealed on-site.

Stacy’s Cookies is located at 5680 198 street in Langley, BC. All products are now produced there. This is not a storefront, please pre-order and arrange for delivery or pick up.

Where do the ingredients come from?

Everything is Canadian sourced, purchased locally and always from reputable stores and suppliers such as Save on Foods, Real Canadian Superstore, Costco, Snowcap and GFS.

Do the cookies contain gluten?

Yes, both the Obsession and Supreme cookie varieties contain wheat flour. The protein balls and the Seedy Affair bar have no gluten containing ingredients. The snack cookies all contain gluten from wheat flour. The cakes and other products all contain flour, dairy and eggs.

What are the sources of protein?

The protein cookies get their protein from the natural food ingredients which include, but aren’t limited to: oats, eggs, cottage cheese, pepitas, sunflower seeds and hemp seed as well as a good amount of the delicious Magnum Quattro protein powder. The Seedy Affair doesn’t have any Quattro in it and all of its protein comes from the various seeds and whole grain oats.

I use the Vanilla Ice Cream and Chocolate Love Quattro in the cookies. Each recipe has a different balance of these to create a unique flavour in each of them. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Obsession cookie also uses BioX Nutri-Nut peanut butter powder. This is a terrific protein product as well, it has a rich, full peanut butter flavor without most of the fat that real peanut butter has.

Are there nuts in the cookies?

There are no nuts in the Supreme and the Seedy Affair, but they are baked in a kitchen where nuts are present and sometimes used. I cannot guarantee that there is no nut exposure for those with extreme allergies. All equipment is cleaned and sanitized frequently in a high temp commercial dishwasher to remove any nut residue throughout the process, but please still use caution if you have a severe allergy.

The peanut butter chocolate Obsession cookie has nuts in it of course and so does the chocolate peanut butter protein ball. The Supreme and Seedy Affair have no nuts. All of the snack cookies have no nuts in them, except of course the peanut butter one.

What is Magnum Quattro?

Magnum Quattro is a 4 isolate, time-released, smooth digesting protein. It’s made without lactose and is a combination of 4 high quality isolates and essential fats like flaxseed. Magnum Quattro is a great tasting protein that bakes better and is more consistent than the other protein powders that I’ve tried. It brings an amazing, underlying delicious element to the products.

What’s the best way to store these?

The two protein cookies are best stored in the freezer if you’re not going to eat them right away, this extends their shelf life to 6 months or more. They only take a few minutes to warm up on the counter. Please see the Product Enjoyment Guide for more detailed information on how to get the most out of these products.

The Chocachewy bar is to be stored in the fridge only, not the freezer. They have a shorter shelf life and should be eaten within two weeks after purchase. A Seedy Affair is best kept cool or in the fridge, not frozen and not warm either.

Where did I get the recipes?

These recipes are my own unpublished, proprietary recipes that have been painstakingly developed from scratch over several years and thousands of hours of effort. I guarantee these recipes are not copied from any book, magazine or the internet.

The Supreme cookie originated in 2015 from a simple but awesome, hearty oatmeal cookie recipe from at least 15 years before that. I took that recipe baked it, changed it and improved it dozens of times from there. The Obsession cookie was built off of the Supreme recipe. The protein balls are completely different and were created out of thin air. The Seedy Affair was created from a mistake and is a chewy granola bar packed with seeds.

How did I figure out the nutrition numbers?

The nutritional testing for the Supreme, The Obsession and the Chocachewy was performed by SGS Canada Inc. located in Burnaby, BC. The nutritional numbers for A Seedy Affair were calculated mathematically directly from the recipe and online nutrient data.

Do you bake anything else?

Yes, I bake all sorts of cookies (also lemon bars, banana bread, blueberry coffee cake and more). Contact me for custom orders. The homestyle baked goods are great for entertaining, packed lunches, platters and snacking anytime. The snack cookie varieties currently available are: Chocolate Chip, Lemon Clouds, Ginger Bends, Peanut Butter, Cinnamon Coffee and Pumpkin Spice. They’re soft and chewy, freeze well and thaw like they were never frozen. Contact me directly to place an order.

  1. Hey Stacy – great to meet you the other day at Montanas. We loved our veggie burger and corn salad. It was great but the best part was meeting you! It looks like you have a great cookie business – hopefully you can get into some of the coffee shop chains and roll it out big time! Anyway, looking forward to our paths crossing again. In the meantime, I wish you all the very best! Warm wishes, Debbie P.S. Are you on facebook?

    1. Hi Debbie

It was great to meet you too! I agree, there was something different about it for sure. Glad to have made the connection with you. I look forward to what it might bring in the future.

I’m glad you liked the burger as well, it’s a popular one. For the cookies, I definitely have my eye on coffee shops, both “one of” locations and chains too. I know they’d be very well liked and sell easily.

All the best to you too and talk to you soon!
